Financial Aid

All students are eligible for a tuition waiver of $100 per course, provided that tuition is paid in full by the first class meeting of the course(s) in question.

Merit based financial aid is awarded to selected prize-winning students at each year's student exhibition.

Students seeking additional financial aid should submit a portfolio of work to the scholarship committee along with a statement indicating financial need. Limited financial aid is given only after students have attended the Academy for one full session at their own expense.

To offset the cost of study, the Academy maintains a small store where students may purchase art supplies at wholesale cost.
